Cut Down on Sugars

Cutting your sugar intake down is a great way to prevent infection since refined sugar is the culprit in many cases. Use sugar substitutes as much as you can. Brush and rinse right away every time you eat something that has a lot of sugar in it. You’ll be glad that you did.

You can reduce that greatly by eating and drinking items that have high levels of antioxidants in them. Examples of such foods are cranberries, blueberries, olives, red beans, pinto beans, strawberries and plums. Garlic is a wonderful element to use, as well. In fact, you can chew on aw garlic and apply the antibiotics directly to your teeth.

The final tip has to do with brushing, flossing and rinsing. You should always take the time to go through the whole process of brushing, flossing and rinsing before you go to bed. Don’t allow the foods and drinks that you’ve taken in to settle on your teeth overnight. That’s how infection and decay start to take over.
